Audience Feedback Conclusion
To gather our feedback we held a small screening for 10 people. This allowed us to get a true understanding of how we did. We handed out a questionnaire that had questions about the video as well as the advert and digipak. The audience was aged around 17 and was a mixture of both genders. There was an 80% of people thought that the video did suit the genre of music. The two people that did disagree felt that it was more of a rock style song and thought that the band used should have been more dominant in the film. The majority of people preferred the first 60 seconds of the video as they felt that it was more fast paced and included original and interesting material. Everybody understood the message of the song, which it was about body image and personality. So I think that we created a good music video for the song and genre of band. Comments that we received back from the questionnaire we positive and audience members especially like how the camera shots were in time with the beat, the "postcard" sections and the stop motion section at the start and end. The one negative that we received was that it seemed to be repetitive. Overall the video met their expectations. The ancillary tasks also received positive. They all believed that the advert and digipak linked to the band and genre of song. They felt that both were modern and contemporary and that they would be attracted to them if they saw them. However, 60% of people felt that the information on the advert could be improved and that one of the fold-out pages, with the band name on could be improved. In conclusion the promotional package was a success.
